Certificates of Analysis & lot documentation
Every material is supported by lot-level analytical documentation. This page explains what that documentation contains and how to request it.
Lot-level testing
Materials are characterized on a per-lot basis. Identity and purity are assessed by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and confirmed by mass spectrometry. Results are recorded on a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA).
What a Certificate of Analysis contains
| Material identity | Material name and reference identifier |
|---|---|
| Lot number | Unique lot identifier for traceability |
| Appearance | Physical description of the lyophilized material |
| Identity method | Mass spectrometry confirmation |
| Purity method | Reverse-phase HPLC, percent purity |
| Test date | Date of analytical evaluation |
Sample Certificate of Analysis
A representative sample CoA is available to qualified research customers on request. Lot-specific Certificates of Analysis are provided with each order.
Requesting documentation
Qualified research customers can request a lot-specific CoA by emailing formlabsllc@gmail.com with the material name and lot identifier. Requests are typically fulfilled within one business day.
Intended use
All documentation is provided to support in-vitro research, analytical method development, and identity verification. Materials are not for human or animal consumption or administration.
